Hi. My name is Doreen Lynn Saunders. I am creating The Americana Stars Memorial, a 9/11 remembrance piece. It consists of 50 separate 2-1/2' x 4' panels and
more than 3000 different stars. Each panel will have 64 unique stars, all cross-stitched by hand. The name of a victim will be stitched under each star.
When it is finished, it will be approximately 200' in length. More than 50 stitchers around the country have offered to help.
For the past 8 years, I have been supporting this project
with my savings. Along the way, many of my stitchers have asked me if my stars and other cross-stitch designs are available
for purchase as home products and novelty items. In order to help with the costs of producing this memorial, I am creating this
website where I will be selling cross-stitch kits and many other items I have designed just for you.
Almost all of my designs are based upon my love of the AMERICAN FLAG & QUILTS.
